HOW I STARTED OUT

I began my professorial career in the corporate America at a Fortune 100 global consumer company. At the time, I was passionate about climbing that corporate ladder. I wanted to soar to the top. However, when downsized from 3 corporate jobs, I knew I had to change my direction as far as a career. Whew! I thought to myself, ‘surely God is trying to tell me something”.

THAT'S WHEN EVERYTHING CHANGED FOR ME.

During my career, I lead with masculine essence as I was overly aggressive, worked hard and late, competitive, communicated loudly with no confidence (and sometimes passively sat in my chair in meetings), and had no clue how to command a room.

Everything shifted when I learned about God’s design of Femininity. That moment helped me realize I wanted to empower WOMEN LEADERS and PROFESSIONAL WOMEN. From there, I committed to hiring a coach to build my own skill set, obtained certifications, and built my Executive Leadership and OD Consultancy.

MY LIFE TODAY

Now, I have the honor of coaching and mentoring WOMEN LEADERS and PROFESSIONAL WOMEN to become unapologetic in embracing Femininity, yet, leverage it to create productive and profitable workplace cultures and execute strategy to conquer female-specific challenges.

While anyone can label themselves as a coach, only those with substantial experience and credibility can truly have an impact on executives and senior leaders to enhance an organization's ROI. Finding the right coach can make a positive and lasting difference in satisfaction, performance, and life-long success as a LEADERS. Organizations benefit too, when WOMEN LEADERS contribute their best. Karlyn brings the following to her extensive coaching, leadership, and life experiences:

1. Education. Education at the graduate level is essential for Executive Coaches because the effectiveness of the coach includes exceling in understanding human behavior and guiding their clients through meaningful changes over time.

***Karlyn holds a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. Additionally, Karlyn is a certified Executive and Leadership Development Coach and certified Mental Toughness Coach.

2. Executive Experience. Possessing executive experience enables Executive Coaches to deeply empathize with the challenges their clients face within their unique contexts.

***Karlyn’s last executive position was as the Vice President at a county's non-profit organization funded with federal funds. She managed a multi-million budget and a staff of over 12+ employees.

3. Women Specific Experience. Executive Coaches having experience helping Women Leaders navigating corporate environments, so working with a coach who has done this previously can set an engagement up for further success.

On the day of the event, Karlyn requests a speaker table to sell products. Additionally, Karlyn welcomes the opportunity to connect and greet audience participants after the event. For events outside of metro Jackson, Mississippi, travel and lodging arrangements must be made and the confirmation schedules must be sent 60 days prior to the event date.
