I worked in corporate America at a global Fortune 100 Company for many years and strived to climb that ladder .... you know, that ladder of success.

And to climb that ladder, I lead with masculine essence as I was overly aggressive, worked hard and late, competitive, communicated loudly with no confidence (and sometimes passively sat in my chair in meetings), and had no clue how to command a room.

I imagine YOU may be able to relate.

Other times, I was the opposite . . . passive, I took no risks, and I lacked decisiveness.  

This back and forth went on for years in my career.

And, regardless of what end of the spectrum I lead from, I was frustrated, exhausted, and furious that NO one was taken me seriously.
